The Country School is an independent, coeducational day school that welcomes children in preschool through grade 8. The school offers a challenging academic program that emphasizes hands-on learning and strives to create motivated, enthusiastic and curious students.

The Jewish Federation of Western CT is a charitable association created to unite Jewish communities and host a wide variety of programs and services. Their building also hosts the B'nai Israel and Beth El Synogogues.
They operate the Brownstein Jewish Family Service, which provides family aid like finding social service agencies, nursing homes or shelters. They also collect funds for aid for sister communities in Israel and the former Soviet Union and sponsor a variety of educational programs.
