Established in 1985, the Indeck Corinth Energy Center is a developer, owner and operator of cogeneration and independent power projects in North America. The company is privately held and is a renter of emergency boilers and generator sets. As a mid-sized developer and operator of independent power generation and energy facilities, Indeck deals in the development, permitting, engineering, management, operations and financing resources of various projects. It has repeatedly developed and operated electric power and steam generating facilities. The company has more than 10 projects in operation and the technologies utilized include combined cycle gas turbine systems, simple cycle gas turbine systems, biomass, wastewood, coal and waste-fueled steam turbine systems. Located in Corinth, N.Y., the Indeck Corinth Energy Centers facility is equipped with a heavy-frame combustion turbine, a multipressure heat recovery steam generator, and an extraction and condensing steam turbine.
