Located on the corner of East Court and Church streets, Doylestown Presbyterian is one of the borough's oldest churches, with roots dating back to 1804. Its Union Academy is a private school led by the pastor of Deep Run Presbyterian in Bedminster. The church's current sanctuary was built in 1871, and an educational and administration building, Andrews Hall, opened in 1940. An ambitious renovation project began in 2008 and is still underway to expand and improve the church, including creating more parking space and handicap accessibility. Sunday services are offered at 8:30am and 11am, and many children's programs, music programs, and social and service groups for men and women are available.
Faith Church was founded in 1966. The current pastor is Joe Henseler and Sunday services are held at 9am and 11am. A "blended" worship with children and adults is held at 9:30am.
Although it dates back to the 1950s, Faith Community has only been in its current home on Freemansburg Avenue in the Easton suburbs since the 1970s. Before that, its congregation met at a church in the city on Ferry Street. These days, Faith Community is led by pastor Pat Weber, and draws members from Lehigh and Monroe counties as well as congregants from across the river in New Jersey.
The congregation follows the reformation teachings established by Martin Luther in 1517. The church provides several services and programs for members including a Bible study and Sunday school.
