St. Philip the Deacon can be found 2 miles west of 494 on County Road Six, and one block east of Highway 101. The mission of this church is “Reach out" to all God’s people. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to participate in the life of this faith community. Several services are held in both traditional and more contemporary formats.
Housed in a pretty brown brick building, this Episcopalian congregation is headed up by Reverend John Peters. Services are offered on Sundays at 8am and 10am and also on Wednesday evenings at 6pm. The church has an orchestra plus bell and vocal choirs. Bible study programs for all ages and a committment to outreach and charity are important parts of their practice and mission.
Eastern Lutheran Church mission is to grow in faith and carry on the work of Jesus Christ. Eastern Lutheran conducts services of worship for all ages.
Instrumental and vocal groups enhance services. Youth and Family Ministries provided from youth through high school and Service and Outreach reaches out to the community in need and the Global Mission makes a difference in the world.
Sunday worship service at Spirit of Life begins every Sunday at 10:00am, with Communion celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Childcare is provided during the worship service. Following the service, Sunday School classes are offered for children and adults. A Youth Program is available, which includes service activities as well as fun monthly group events.
River Heights Vineyard Church offers Christian worship services and activities for the community. Worship is held on Sundays at 9am, 10:30am and noon. Religious education is available for children of all ages. Jon and Sue Marsden are the lead pastors here.
