Gulf Gate Church is a Christian church located in Gulf Gate that offers services every Sunday at 9:30am. The church also offers age-appropriate worship in the "KidZone" weekly during Sunday service.

The New Life Worship Center on Worrington Street in Sarasota offers one of the widest ranges of ministry opportunities around. Involvement is available for men, women and youth members of the congregation in a variety of different ways. Wednesday and Friday, the church distributes food from 5pm to 6:30pm. The New Life Worship Center is also affiliated with a Bible training center in India.

The church has a particular emphasis on helping families –– the new, invisible homeless –– and work with Family Promise to support those in need. It also supports families through several children's programs, from day care to youth groups and hosted 12-step meetings.

Set on a sprawling campus, the Sarasota Baptist Church provides a variety of offerings for community members, including regular services, Bible study, choir, orchestra and ministries for all ages. Sarasota Baptist provides a Parent's Morning daycare program from Tuesday through Thursday. It also hosts a dinner every Wednesday: $5 for individuals, maximum of $14 for an entire family, regardless of size.

"Active," "dynamic," "open-minded" and "green" are words that spring from the tongues of members of the congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota. With a strong tradition of social advocacy and justice, the congregational body of the UU incorporates and welcomes people of diverse faiths and backgrounds united by a common belief in humanity, the inherent worth and dignity of each person and of the earth. The flaming chalice, originally designed during WWII by Hans Deutsch, was meant to symbolize sacrifice and love, and has been adapted to the more modern symbol incorporating also two circles. The building itself is designed in the style of the Sarasota School of Architecture, including the large picture windows on either side of the congregation hall, bringing nature in from outdoors.
