CTC is the only theatre in Central Oregon that is entirely volunteer-based. While a skeleton staff of two manages the organizations day-to-day operations, all productions are directed, acted, designed, built and painted by volunteers. Those with a wealth of experience teach those with little or none. It s a rare production at CTC that doesnt feature at least one new face onstage or backstage and more often than not the new volunteers have just as much to offer.CTC presents five full-length, Mainstage productions yearly, with 14 performances each. CTC often offers additional presentations such as dramatic readings, a limited run of a play or a late night studio production of cutting-edge theatre. CTC was the parent company to The Bend Theatre for Young People and The Childrens Music Theatre Group.
