Leesylvania State Park opened in 1992, and is bordered by the Neabsco Creek, the Potomac River and Powells Creek. Five hiking trails are at this park, as well as a segment of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail. Individuals may go boating or fishing at the park or enjoy lunch at one of the picnic pavilions. Small tents are allowed on the campgrounds, but prior arrangements must be made.
Lake Ridge Parks & Recreation Association (LRPRA) is a homeowners' association. Members may enjoy use of community centers, pools, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, sports fields, sports programs and clubs and classes within the community. Members may also voice concerns to the association.

This park is home to the Woodbridge Little League, hiking trails, soccer fields and a water park. This expansive park, which has a view of the water, also includes a small skateboarding park. The community center is open year-round with a variety of activies for children of all ages. Picnic areas can be rented for private events.
Located on Cotton Mill Drive in Woodbridge, Lake Ridge Park is a public park with a golf course, a mini-golf course and a marina. It offers arts and crafts, nature, science and Scouts programs for participants of all ages. Andrew Leitch Regional Park is home to a playground, picnic areas, basketball and volleyball courts, a WaterWorks water park and fields for baseball, softball and soccer. The Birchdale Recreation Center hosts a wide range of childrens' programs, including summer camps and classes in everything from ballet to cooking. Cloverdale Park is a community space and park with softball fields, football fields, tennis courts, basketball courts and horseshoe pits. Picnic pavilion rentals are available.
