Cowles Park in East Granby comprises 111 acres of preserved forest land, just north of the Tariffville Gorge. The trails that wind through the forest can be used for hiking, biking or winter-time snowshoeing. Camping is another possibility with the proper permits. Visitors won't find much in the way of amenities in this park. Cowles Park is truly nature at its best with few reminders of civilization.
