After earning his degrees, Dr. Gunnerson went on to accumulate considerable experience in his specialty, serving in the United States Army as an optometrist. Dr. Gunnerson spent over 28 years helping American military personnel across the world with vision problems, including a deployment to Iraq. Because of his many years spent in service to the United States, Dr. Gunnerson enjoys working with veterans of all services, in addition to his patients in the Moberly community.
