Formed in 1961, the Progress Center serves young children with developmental delay or disability from birth to 3 years of age. Located in Longview, Wash., it offers assistance with education, information, support and therapy services. This includes behavioral assessments, research on infant/toddler brain development and physical /communication/occupational therapy, among others. It serves more than four county areas, including Clark, Cowlitz and Wahkiakum in Washington, and Columbia in Oregon.
