Penacook Community Center offers programs for children of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. The Capitol Center for the Arts was originally built in 1927 as the Capitol Theater, but was closed in 1989. Through the help of the town it was restored almost to its original condition, and was renamed in 1995. The arts center specializes in performing arts, hosting events such as Broadway shows, dance performances, pop and country stars, international shows and business seminars.
