Founded in 1992, The Residency is a retirement community located in Scottsbluff, Neb. The community has more than 90 independent living apartments equipped with kitchen appliances and cable television. It offers scheduled transportation, emergency nurse call alert systems, and housekeeping, meal preparation and ground care services. The community organizes several social and recreational activities, including classes in gardening, exercise, music and Bible studies. It provides an assisted living program through its home health department. The community provides assessment and set up of medications and assistance with bathing, dressing and physical therapy. The Residency also operates the Med Center, a 21-plus-bed health care center. It additionally offers physical, occupational and speech therapies.
