Erskine Academy is an independent secondary school located in South China, Maine. Founded in 1883, the academy enrolls more than 700 students in grades nine through 12. The academy s academic department includes Englsih, social studies, mathematics, science, special education, business and technology and classical modern language. It offers various clubs, including theater, business, language and Latin club. The academy has several organizations, such as business education association of Maine, math team, National Honor Society, peer tutors, speech team and student council. It has an athletics department that offers soccer, cross county, golf, field hockey, swimming, basketball, track, wrestling, tennis, softball, baseball and cheerleading.
