Westminster Village, located in Scottsdle, Ariz., is a nonprofit life care retirement community. The center was founded in 1988 by a group of friends and neighbors for people to continue their independent lifestyles and be provided with lifelong health care services. The center also provides licensed home health services in the residents home. The staff provides assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication and other activities of daily living on a fee-for-service basis. Homes are equipped with an emergency response system for safety reasons. The center also operates an on-site, more than 60-bed skilled nursing center supervised by registered nurses 24 hours, seven days a week. It additionally operates a 16-bed Alzheimer s disease and dementia care unit to provide a safe and secure environment for residents with Alzheimer s disease and related dementias. The facility includes eight semiprivate rooms, a living room, library and dining room.
