The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, also known as ITCA, works to promote tribal sovereignty and strengthen tribal government agencies. The council is a nonprofit organization that operates more than 20 projects and provides technical assistance and training to tribal governments in program planning and development, research and data collection, resource development, management and evaluation. It provides information for the self-development of Indian community. The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona s members include tribal chairpersons, presidents and governors. It staffs a team of more than 50 employees, including specialists, coordinators, epidemiologist analysts and typists.
