Presbyterian Hospitality House, also known as PHH, specializes in the treatment of youths suffering from emotional and developmental disabilities. The organization has been serving Alaska for more than 45 years. It operates over five residential treatment centers and offers family counseling, mediation and consultation services. Presbyterian Hospitality House s Ruth Burnett Emergency Stabilization and Assessment Center focuses on the emotional, behavioral, academic and mental development of youths. Norton Sound Health Corporation was one of the first Native American health organizations in the country to assume complete responsibility for medical care of the people it serves. The corporation was founded to serve the health care needs of the Inupiat, Siberian Yupik and Yupik people of the Bering Strait region of northwest Alaska. Norton Sound Regional Hospital in Nome, the only Alaska bush community with a road system, is operated by Norton Sound Health Corporation. Services provided at the more than 30-bed hospital includes laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, dental, audiology, optometry and physical and respiratory therapy. Encompassed within the system are clinics in 15 native Alaskan villages scattered on the coast and islands of the Bering Sea. The corporation was established in 1970.

Based in Anchorage, Alaska, Denali Family Services provides a variety of health services for children with emotional disorders and their families and caregivers. It is a charitable, nonprofit corporation serving the state residents since 1995. The agency serves children with mental illnesses and residing outside of psychiatric residential settings. It provides foster care and behavioral health care services for children. Denali Family Services offers individual, family and group psychotherapy services in combination with intensive care coordination and rehabilitative services. The agency serves nearly 150 consumers every month in the city and surrounding areas. It receives referrals from the office of childrens services, local psychiatric hospitals, military bases, former consumers, homeless shelters and other health care providers.
