Issaquah Brewhouse has operated under the management of Rogue Ales for the more than 10 years. However, the brewery still continues to make its own speciality beers, such as the Bullfrog Ale. Food, such as soups, salads, American Kobe beef haute dogs, beef burgers and more, is available to complement any of the 36 beers on tap. Brewery tours happen weekdays at 2 p.m.
Harbor Greens LLC is a hidden treasure nestled next to the Forza Coffee Shop/Wine Bar on Olympic Drive. This market features a wide variety of local and fresh products. The atmosphere is warm and exceedingly welcoming, and guests are greeted with a hearty hello upon arrival. Meticulous presentation characterizes the selection of fresh produce, and an in-house butcher is on hand to make suggestions about the all-natural meat and fresh fish selection.
Located in Quad 95, Black Raven Brewing Co. is a local brewery that specializes in using locally sourced ingredients in all their beers. The Raven's Nest is the intimate, friendly taproom portion of Black Raven, where you can imbibe the brewery's beers in a lively space. Flying Saucer Pizza, located right around the corner, delivers right to your table in the taproom with no delivery charge. Visitors can also bring their own food to go along with their local beer and free WiFi is available.
Though this family-run winery is closed to the public, dedicated oenophiles can get on the mailing list for twice-yearly releases of its celebrated reds. (Wannabe clients can sign up on the website.) Master winemaker Bob Betz and his team produce only 3,500 cases per year, ensuring tight quality control. Alhough the scenic estate includes grapevines, all of the grapes used come from Eastern Washington.
