Established in 1968, Pikes Peak Community College is a fully accredited, nonprofit institution that offers associate degrees and certificates in more than 125 educational programs. Located in Colorado Springs, Colo., it offers occupational programs for youth and adults in career and technical fields, transfer programs for admission to the junior year at other colleges and universities, and a broad range of personal, career and technical education for adults. Subjects taught include, architecture, auto collision, computer-aided designing, entrepreneurship, mathematics, sociology, telecommunications and work force training. Additionally the college has more than 30 clubs and organizations that include ballroom dancing, anime club, geologic expedition, theater, Peace Corps, soccer club and society of fine arts. The college has an annual enrollment of more than 16,000 students and has three campuses in Colorado Springs.
