Lincoln Place, which opened in Spring 2010, is part of The Link's new supportive housing program. The Link is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1991 to bring "opportunity...to disempowered youth living in impoverished neighborhoods."

Lincoln Place has 24 units that are very affordable to homeless and disabled adults in Dakota County ages 18-24. The young adults will learn how to become self-sufficient, and how to make better decisions.

According to The Link, it will provide supportive services to its residents, such as "case management, 24-hour front desk coverage, independent living skills instruction, advocacy, and access to additional support services on-site and through referral to residents ages 18 and up. Lincoln Place housing is a drug and alcohol free development."
