Established in 1976, the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is an art and cultural center that offers more than 500 courses in art, dance, music, visual arts, ceramics, photography and humanities. The center maintains over 10 studios and classrooms. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities also has a ceramics studio and photography laboratory. It organizes camps and conducts various events and concerts. The center provides rental services for indoor theaters and rooms. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities features over 9,000-square-foot meeting room for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings and conferences. In addition, it offers on-site event planning, catering and maintenance services. The center features a gift shop that maintains a collection of jewelry, paintings, sculptures, books and toys. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is located in Arvada, Colo.

Built in 1867 when Golden was the territorial capital, the Astor House stayed in continuous operation as a boarding and rooming house until 1971, serving legislators, miners, and students. With one of the first bathtubs in town, the Astor House also attracted trail-dusted visitors willing to pay 25 cents for a hot bath. Although the tub is no longer used for soaking, a visit to the Astor House Museum will show you why it’s on the National Register of Historic Places!

From a B-52 to the Star Wars X-wing signed by Harrison Ford and other cast members, our museum, housed in a 1930s Air Force hangar, features dozens of historic airplanes, space vehicles and interactive exhibits. Wings is located on the former grounds of Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado. The museum is housed in the historic Hangar No. 1, built in 1939. The museum preserves the history of Lowry Air Force Bases operations from 1938 to 1994 in its collections, archives and research library. In 1997, the Colorado State Legislature passed House Bill 1269, making Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum Colorados Official Air and Space Museum.
