Phipps Center for the Arts has been part of the Hudson arts community for more than 25 years. Although the center is mainly known for its children's productions and organ concerts, it also offers violin, pottery, voice and dance lessons. The center presents numerous opportunities to participate in classes, audition for plays and volunteer. There is a dance studio and six art galleries, which feature pieces by regional and local artists, located in the building. The gift shop features items by local artists.
