The City of Greer Fire Department is responsible for providing various fire rescue, prevention and safety services. Established in 1914, the department offers extrication, rapid intervention, confined space rescue, fire protection and inspection, and hazardous material and medical first response services. It employs a team of full-time firefighters, as well as volunteers and explorers.
