Haymarket People's Fund is a social justice organization that advocates change, not charity. Operating since 1974, its focus is regional in scope. Haymarket People's Fund gives money to grassroots groups of local organizations across the region who believe that change is possible.

The foundation, run by a 12-member Board of Trustees, supports community-based and community-driven programs. There are also two special grant boards. In additional to grants, the foundation supports research and works to address regional health issues like healthy aging and childhood obesity.
