Originally known as Sierra Children's Home, what is now Agape Villages Inc. first began ministering to California's children in 1958. Now it is a multi-service, residential treatment facility committed to providing troubled children with safe homes in nurturing environments. In 1995 the Agape Villages Foster Family Agency was created to recruit, train, certify and supervise families who commit to being foster parents for homeless children. It has four locations in the Bay Area with its headquarters in San Ramon.
