Since 1981, Good Shepherd Food Bank has a diverse group of individuals that jointly carry out the critical work of feeding Maine s hungry. Based in Auburn, Maine, The food bank provides meals to over 36,000 individuals each week through a network of more than 600 partner agencies covering every county in Maine. Its partner agencies include soup kitchens, shelters, after school programs, food pantries, day care centers, senior centers and youth programs. Distributing food for more than 600 food pantries, the food bank is extending support to meet the critical needs in the under-served areas. It conducted several programs, which includes Food Mobile, Agency Match Program, Purchased Food, Feeding Maine Youth, The Emergency Food Assistance Program and Commodity Supplemental Food Program, to name a few.

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that collects and distributes food through a member network in more than 10 counties in southwestern Pennsylvania. The organization gathers food through solicitations, fundraisers, special events and community partnerships. It maintains a more than 90,000-square-foot warehouse for the storage and distribution of food. Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank distributes over 18 million pounds of food per year through outlets, such as shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, after-school programs, regional food banks, and emergency and disaster-related feeding sites. Yad Ezra is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting impoverished Jewish families through the delivery of free kosher groceries and health-care items.
