Hospice of Hope is a nonprofit, community-based organization serving terminally ill children, adults and their families. It serves Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Mason, Pendleton and Robertson counties in northern Kentucky and Adams, Brown, Clermont, Highland and Pike counties in southern Ohio. Its registered nurses specialize in pain control management and home health aides, volunteers, social workers and chaplains also contribute to the hospice network of support to the patient and family. The chaplain offers spiritual guidance by assessing and meeting the patients spiritual needs. Its family bereavement follow-up program provides bereavement support groups, grief counseling and support to the patients family for 15 months after the patients death. Hospice of Hope is licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the state of Ohio and is certified by Medicare and Medicaid. Hospice of Hope has locations in Maysville, Ky., and Mount Orab, Ohio.
