Founded in 1920, Mennonite Central Committee works among people suffering from poverty, conflict, oppression and natural disaster. The committee sends people, food and material goods to communities recovering from war and natural disasters. It encourages and supports local churches and community groups to provide food, health care, education, employment and social services.
