Seacoast Irmo is a nondenominational church. It offers worship services every Sunday at 9:30am and 11:15am. In addition, it also provides mission groups for local projects as well as extended projects outside the community. It also has small groups which discuss and live the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Riverbend Community Church offers a place to gather for worship and prayer. Weekly sermons aim to teach modern applications of Christian values and congregants can participate in community outreach activities. After Sunday services, members mingle over fresh donuts and coffee.
Established in 2000, Calvary Chapel distinguishes itself through its verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Accessibility is part of its mission, so even non-members can follow lectures and teachings. There's a Sunday morning TV broadcast at 6:30am on Columbia's local ABC channel and live webcasts are archived for streaming or download. More recently, a skate park opened on the property to give youth a place to congregate.
The West Ashley campus of the SeaCoast Church is led by Pastor Ron Hamilton. The church ministers to the community through fellowship, volunteering, and education. The church sponsors internships and educational programs for youths, as well as lessons and Bible study for the adults. The congregation and leadership encourage visitors to come to Sunday services and to visit the website to hear messages and sermons from the pastor.
St Andrews Evangelical Church is a local church offering worship services every Sunday at 8am, 11am, and 6pm. In addition it also offers a number of other ministries such as prayer groups, missions and more. In addition it also offers a Sunday school program.
Word Ministries Christian Center is run by Dr. George Hamilton. It has a number of outreach ministries, including local ministries and global ministries. Also, it runs Rhema Bible College.

Woodland Hills Community Church is a local Brethren Church. It offers a worship service every Sunday and hosts a Sunday school program and a number of ministries such as youth, music and study groups.
