Operational since 1970, the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council focuses on safeguarding Southeast Alaska s unsurpassed natural environment and supporting the sustainable use of its region s natural resources. Located in Juneau, Alaska, it is a coalition of 14 member groups in 12 communities, stretching along the coast from Ketchikan to Yakutat.
