Central Valley School District serves more than 12,000 students in grades kindergarten through 12 by offering a variety of academic and co-curricular programs and a preschool program. Central Valley School District is governed by a five-member board of directors, elected by patrons in specific geographic areas of the district. A wide variety of programs and services support student learning in the Central Valley School District. Choice and alternative schools, career and technical education, programs for highly capable students, special education, learning support programs and English language development programs are offered to its students. Programs for home-schooled students, child care, transportation, food service, school nursing, staff development, early childhood education and curriculum development are also offered to support students, teachers, families and the community.
