As a Touchstone Energy cooperative, Firelands Electric is part of a national alliance of local cooperatively owned electric utilities providing various services to residential, commercial and industrial customers large and small. Its service area has more than 980 miles of distribution lines that bring safe and dependable electric power to more than 9,000 consumers. The cooperative offers a safety education program and demonstrations for local elementary schools.
