Children Across America is a non-profit organization that provides underserved children in the Blackstone Valley region with affordable health care and educational services. The organization provides the children with free immunizations, preventive health care services, a free prescription drug program, Mass Health assistance and community outreach programs. Educational services include tutoring in reading, writing and math, MCAS camp for third and fourth graders and TESOL classes for kindergarten through fifth grade. All services are provided in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Milford Family & Community Network (formerly Milford Family Network) offers a a wealth of resources for families and providers in the greater Milford area. Some of the resources include early education and care, parent education and developmental programs, parents as teachers, and facilitator-and parent-led play groups (for children from birth to five years).
