Palmetto Bay Christian Academy, located in Palmetto Bay, Fla., is a ministry of Christ Fellowship. The academy was established in 1973 and provides academic and religious education to students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes English, language arts, history, math and science. It also offers health and physical education. It also offers courses in Spanish, art and computer applications. It emphasizes on active learning, logical thinking, phonetic awareness, reading and creative writing skills. The academy has a library and media center that offer Beka curriculum textbooks and religious books. Additionally, it organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art and crafts, music, chorus and spiritual classes. It also offers religious education that includes Bible study.
