Country Willow specializes in custom furniture — an eclectic mix of one-of-a-kind finds and popular and private-label brands. The furniture is handmade, one piece at a time, using hand-painted and distressed finishes, traditional joinery and eight-way hand-tied upholstery. The shop's inventory includes dining room, living room, office and bedroom furniture.
In existence since 1915, the Bedford Hills Free Library first opened in two rooms above a shoe store in the hamlet. Thirty-seven years later, in 1952, it moved to its present home, a 140-year-old building on Main Street. The Bedford Hills Free Library offers a wide variety of programs, events and services for its residents, including book groups and story time. Story Time hours are Tuesday at 4pm for ages three and four, Wednesday at 10:30am for ages 18 months to 3 years and 4:30pm for children in grades K through two and Fridays at 4:15pm for grades three through five. Book group for middle school students, led by author Lena Roy, are held on the second Wednesday of the month from 7pm to 8pm. Book group for high school students, led by Bobbi Bittker, are held on the first Wednesday of the month from 7pm to 8pm.

The Pedigree Ski Shop in Bedford Hills sells equipment, accessories and clothing for skiing, tennis and swimming. One can also make purchases on its website. Additional locations are in Stamford, CT, and White Plains.
