Cary Christian Center, established in 1971, is a nonprofit organization offering a wide range of services directed at the needs of communities in the south Mississippi Delta region. The center s Compassion Ministry provides assistance to individuals and families who loose their homes to fires by supplying furnishings and clothing. The ministry also assists in other areas, such as helping families with a gas, electric bill assistance, having power restored during the cold winters, and eviction prevention assistance. The organization s Dental Clinic Ministry provides dental services to patients with routine and emergency needs. Through its parent child program, the center provides prenatal classes for expectant mothers, and for those with babies and young children. Cary Christian Center is governed by a board of directors, and is located in Cary, Miss.
