Heather M. Kistka, MD is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin. She graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her neurosurgery residency and subspecialization in neurosurgical oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Her research focused on natural history and outcomes of neurosurgical treatments of primary tumors and metastases to the brain and spine. Dr. Kistka?s interests include restoring function to the central and peripheral nervous system from multiple causes including tumors, degenerative disc disease, carpal tunnel and vascular malformations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Kathryn A. Hanlon, MD received her medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School and completed her residency in neurology at the University of Illinois Hospital and her internship at Weiss Memorial Hospital, all of which are in Chicago. Board-certified in neurology, she served as the director of Primary Stroke Center at St. Marys Hospital in Hobart, Indiana, and as a neurologist at the Neurological Institute & Specialty Centers in Merrillville, Indiana. She was also an assistant professor of neurology at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Hanlon is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Headache Society and the International Headache Society.

Stephen M. Smith, MD received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Kansas in 2004.
