Kathy Stiffler and Dale Stiffler formed Individual Support Systems (ISS) in 1995 as a provider of services to Kansans with developmental disabilities. ISS is incorporated in the State of Kansas and is licensed by the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services. It is one of several affiliate agencies of the Topeka Association of Retarded Citizens. ISS contracts with TARC to provide services, such as painting, decorating, transportation, paperwork assistance, yard work, legislative campaigning and fundraising. Individual Support Systems is a nonprofit organization located in Topeka, Kan., helping persons with developmental disabilities throughout the Capital City.
