Peoples Church Preschool is a nonprofit, state licensed, nationally accredited facility. It is an outreach program of the Peoples Church of East Lansing. The school s purpose is to provide children with an individual curriculum that is based on that childs development level. The preschool program helps prepare children for kindergarten by providing them an opportunity to discover the world around them and to see how they fit into it. The programs assist children in gaining growth socially, emotionally and intellectually through play and learning experiences. Some of the school s additional benefits include a monthly newsletter, a portfolio for each child, child evaluations and parent-teacher conferences twice per year, opportunities for parents to meet with one another and arrange for car-pooling, free vacation days accumulated for full-time enrolled children, classroom computers in preschool and small, age-specific classes.
