Metropolitan Ballet Theatre trains young dancers in the art of classical ballet and promotes excellence based on high standards of integrity and professionalism. Providing instruction to each dancer with respect, love and responsibility, Metropolitan Ballet Theatre aims to expose dancers to performing and familiarizing each student with different dance styles, choreography and choreographers.
The Museum School opened in August 2010 and is the first theme school of its type in the state of Georgia. At the Museum School, students learn through partnerships with museums and other community organizations in a project-based curriculum. The students learn at places including The Georgia Aquarium, High Museum and Atlanta History Center.
A D West Dance Company is located in the Douglas Town Center Shopping Plaza across from the U.S. Post Office. It is a Christian-based studio that offers an array of dance styles for children. Hip-Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Lyrical are among just a few.
