Sudor Taino was founded by Karla Rodriguez, a certified physical fitness instructor by the Police Officer's Training Council with more than 17 years experience in group fitness and kickboxing instruction.
Meriden Dance Center offers ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, tap and hip hop dance classes starting as early as age three. Group classes are offered as well as private classes for one to three students. The dance school year is in session from September to June. Students pay annual tuition, but there are payment options available.

Academy of Dance Arts has been a part of the community since 1973.
