Dixie Dairies, Blackbelt Creamery and Dairy Fresh were consolidated in 1951 to become Dairy Fresh Corporation. Dairy Fresh serves clients in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana, where Dairy Fresh products are sold. The company is one of the only independently owned milk-processing companies in Alabama, procuring raw milk supplies from more than 190 dairymen and two milk cooperatives. Its products include milk, juices and different types of ice cream, which include Dairy Fresh and Nestle brands. The company has offices in Dothan, Greensboro and Mobile, Ala., as well as Hattiesburg, Miss. Dairy Fresh Corporation is headquartered in Greensboro, Ala.
