The mission of Johnson County Soil & Water Conservation District is to provide local program guidance to solve natural resource problems. The members assist local governments, developers, homeowners and engineers in planning and applying conservation systems in urban areas. They also provide environmental educational services to schools and the public.
This is one of two Story County Attorney's offices. It is located on the second floor of the Story County Human Services building. The attorney prosecutes state and county legal violations and acts as the legal advisor for Story County.
Seats Paratransit provides transportation to senior citizens and disabled people. Its vans regularly transport people to grocery stores, doctor's appointments and other necessary destinations.
