The main office of the Sacramento Area Sewer District is a place for the public to come with questions and concerns about their sewer service, and the office also issues permits for sewer work. Developers and homeowners building or upgrading their sewer lines can come to this location for a permit.
Bills cannot be paid at this location, however. Sewer bills can be paid at the Consolidadted Utility Billing and Service office at 9700 Goethe Rd.
The Sacramento Area Sewer District serves the unincorporated areas of Sacramento County, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova and Elk Grove, as well as portions of Folsom and portions of the city of Sacramento. If customers have sewer problems or sewer overflows, they are encouraged to call the district for free diagnostic. The district's 24/7 question and problem hotline is 916-875-6730.
The district also has a 10-member board of directors consisting of elected officials from the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors and every city the district serves. That board meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at the County Board of Supervisors Chambers, 700 H St.
The county's Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder's office is where locals can get copies of and file public records. It deals in birth, death and marriage certificates, passport applications, fictitious business names and other public records.
The building sits on County Center Drive, where many county services keep offices. The office is a few doors down from the Grace Mellman Community Library.
This facility at the Marin Health & Wellness Campus includes Buckelew Employment Services, Marin Assisted Independent Living, the Marin County Department of Health and Human Services' adult mental health program and the STAR program. It also houses the Community Action Marin Enterprise Resource Center and the Linda Reed Activities Club.
American Airports is a general aviation airport management company. It operates five airports in Los Angeles County, one in Arkansas and one at the Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. It manages the Brackett Field Airport at this location, which features two paved runways, 400 rental hangars, more than 100 rental tie downs, 24-hour fuel stations and lobbies for passangers and pilots. The Mount San Antonio College Aviation Department bases its flight schools at Brackett.
The Beverly Hills Courthouse—part of the Los Angeles Superior Court—is comprised of 17 judges, 15 magistrates and 245 staff members who handle civil, small claims, traffic and misdemeanor cases occurring within the city. An on-site child care center is available free of charge to individuals desiring a safe place to leave their infants and children while they are in court.
