Oakwood Counseling Center was established through prayer and a desire to provide Christ-centered professional counseling to Oakwood, New Braunfels, and the surrounding communities. Our licensed counseling staff offers a program that is clinically professional and distinctly Christian. Each counselor is a dedicated Christian who incorporates a strong balance of both spiritual and clinical care, and each utilizes and teaches proven biblical principles that relate to difficult life situations and issues. Our counselors are all personally committed to provide quality, biblically based care. Treatment includes an initial assessment and evaluation, followed by individual, marital, and/or family counseling. Our counselors are experienced in treating children, adolescents, and adults.

Established in 1981, Connections is a private, nonprofit organization that offers a range of support services for homeless, abused and at-risk youths, families and the communities in which they live. It provides various counseling, residential, community education and referral services for the residents of Atascosa, Bastrop, Bee, Caldwell, Comal, Frio, Goliad, Gonzales, Lee, Live Oak and McMullen counties in Texas.
