Located in Tillamook, Ore., Tillamook Youth Correctional Facility is a 50-bed unit that offers treatment and supervision services for sex offenders. The facility is operated by the Oregon Youth Authority, which is a juvenile corrections agency that serves youths in more than 34 counties in Oregon. Founded in 1995, the agency offers crisis intervention, behavior management, restitution and rehabilitation programs for youth offenders. It also provides community out-of-home placements and state parole and probation services. Additionally, the agency offers case planning, counseling, parent training and support services. The agency provides educational programs through local school and educational service districts. The Oregon Youth Authority also offers spiritual enhancement and physical and dental health care services.
