In 1835, Lehman Memorial Methodist Church was established. This beautiful church truly has a historic feel; the pathway is lined with bricks that are dedicated to past members of the church. Stained glass commemorates patrons and reverends, and in front of the church, there is a bell. On Sundays, there are three services offered. Throughout the week, there are a variety of activities, including youth groups, prayer groups, support ministries for both men and women and Christian education classes. The squad is part of the much larger Second Alarmers Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County, which answers a combined 12,000 emergency calls per year. The Union Library Company of Hatboro is steeped in history, yet chock-full of modern-day comforts like oversized chairs, cozy gathering space and Wi-Fi. The second oldest library in Pennsylvania, its offerings include a diverse collection of historical books and a comfortable downstairs meeting space made available for various veterans and Civil War programs.
