St. Francis Rectory is located on Mayfield Road near the intersection of Mayfield and Som Center Road in Gates Mills. The rectory is where the priests of St. Francis live. There is a rectory office open daily. The St. Francis grounds have the church, rectory, playground, field and rectory office.
Christian Heritage Assembly of God church is dedictated to serving the community and sharing the faith both in the Avon area and overseas through giving to missions. The church offers programs for all ages, including several ministry programs for children, a social fellowship program for senionrs and a ministry for members under 40. Jeffrey Phail is the senior pastor.
Jacob & Clara Faber Foundation is located on Front Street in Cuyahoga Falls. It is an automotive collision & refinishing repair shop that has been in business for more than 50 years. It is also a school and offers a program for juniors and seniors in high school that are interested in the automotive collision industry. The Foundation doesn't receive any funding from the government and the program is offered at no charge to the students. The Jacob & Clara Faber Foundation is based in a fairly large facility, with decent parking.
A Cultural Exchange is a book store as well as a nonprofit organization focusing on promoting children's literacy. It offers several education programs that combine literature and the performing arts along with community events.
In addition, some of A Cultural Exchange's programs include bringing authors of cultural literature to schools, libraries and community centers and establishing book fairs. The organization also has it trademark Busy Bookmobile, which travels the community.
Christ Episcopal Church hosts two services each Sunday. The first is a Quiet Holy Eucharist Rite I with no music and delivered in traditional language. At 10am Holy Eucharist Rite II is delivered in contemporary language, with an accompanying choir.
Sunday school programs for both children and adults are held from September through June. Nursery care is provided for children during Sunday services year round.
