A ministry of Spotsylvania-based Faith Baptist Church, the Virginia Baptist College was created by three Fredericksburg-area pastors in the 1980s. The four-year Bible college opened in 1984 under a different name. It has since grown and moved to the current location next to the Chancellor Center, behind the StellarOne bank. The college has four classrooms and offers degrees in ministry and Christian education as well as certificates in Bible studies.
This Catholic elementary school serves more than 500 students from pre-K through 8th grade. The school is administered by the Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales.
Montessori Children's Center is located just inside the Little River Commons community off Gum Spring Rd. The school offers programs based upon the education principles of Maria Montessori, with a special emphasis on creating enrichment activities that develop the child's intellect and curiosity about his environment. Programs offered include one for toddlers, a pre-school program, kindergarten and before and after school care for kids up to 12 years of age.
Germanna Community College is a two-year college in the Virginia Community College system. Its goal is to provide affordable higher education opportunities for residents of the greater Fredericksburg area. This campus is one of four locations in the Germanna Community College system.
Fredericksburg Bible Institute is a bible school for students who want to know more about the bible or who want to dedicate their lives to full-time Christian service.

The 460 seat Harris Theatre is a modified proscenium thrust style theatre with an intimate feel.
It is located on the campus of George Mason University near the Center for the Arts, just northeast of Mason Pond Parking Deck,
The orchestra and balcony levels of Harris Theatre have separate entrances allowing the balcony to be closed when not required. There are 343 orchestra level seats
with additional space for 11 wheelchairs, and 117 balcony level seats. The balcony is accessible by staircase only.
The acoustical nature of the room lends itself well to both speaking events and music recitals. The venue has been used by various recording studios looking for a “live” sounding room for marching and concert band music. Additionally, the theatre is used regularly for both dance and theatrical productions.
For an hourly fee, the Sandy Creek and Mason Pond Visitor Parking Decks offer covered parking and a walkway to both the Concert Hall and Harris Theater.
Free parking is only available in Lot K (located directly across the pond from the Concert Hall).
