St. Matthew's Early Education Center offers a nursery school and kindergarten for children, and an extended-day program for children ages 2 through 5. Several different classes are taught at St. Matthew's both mornings and afternoons, and the center also offers all-day child care.
The Bethesda Country Day School offers programs for pre-school children aged 2 to kindergarten throughout the school year and the summer. Each individualized classroom is divided into several learning areas: reading, manipulatives, art, science, sensory, construction, writing and dramatic play. The Community College of Baltimore County at Dundalk offers an honors program and possesses a three-decade old community theater program. The school provides a host of clubs and organizations, including the Multicultural Student Association and Student Government Association. CCBC Dundalk currently has teams in men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball and softball. The school colors are red and white, and the school mascot is a lion.
