USTA, New England, the United States Tennis Association, has an office on Route 9 in Westborough. The mission of this organization is to "Promote and develop the growth of tennis." The USTA, New England, website includes information on leagues and tournaments for adults, children and adaptive tennis players. Volunteer opportunities are also presented.
The Knights of Columbus Council No. 85 is affiliated with Westborough's only Roman Catholic church, St. Luke the Evangelist Church. Over 175 members strong, the group hosts Wednesday night bingo and rents out the Knights of Columbus hall to the public for receptions, dances, parties and more. The facility has a functioning kitchen and a fully stocked bar. It can host 168 seated guests.
Explorer Post 85 is a member of the Knox Trail Council of the Boy Scouts, sponsored by the Westborough Firefighters Association. Members are involved in fire, emergency service and community outreach activities. Post 85 shows their members how to train for public emergencies such as fire and emergency services. Members are real-life backups to these town service department's. They also hold various events throughout the year, including the popular Ski Swap every December. Members must be 15 years old or have completed the 8th grade.
